Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about renovating with us

Do you handle design and council approvals?

Yes—we provide concept design, material selections, and guidance on all necessary approvals. Where council permits or building approvals are required, we manage the application process to ensure your project meets all regulations.

How do quotes work?

Start by filling out our quote form or calling us directly. Share your suburb, project scope, and preferred timeline. We'll arrange a site visit to assess the space, discuss your vision, and provide a detailed, transparent quote that outlines all costs.

What areas do you service?

We service Adelaide metro and the greater metropolitan area across South Australia. This includes all suburbs within approximately 50km of the CBD. Contact us to confirm coverage for your specific location.

How long does a typical renovation take?

Timelines vary based on project scope. A standard bathroom renovation typically takes 2-3 weeks, kitchens 3-4 weeks, and full-home makeovers 8-12 weeks. We provide a detailed schedule during the quote phase and keep you updated throughout the project.

Do I need to move out during the renovation?

For most bathroom and kitchen renovations, you can stay in your home—we work to minimize disruption. For full-home makeovers or projects affecting multiple areas, we'll discuss the best approach based on your specific circumstances and project scope.

What's included in your quotes?

Our quotes include all labor, materials, fixtures, permits, and project management. We provide a detailed breakdown so you know exactly what's included. We don't have hidden fees—what you see in the quote is what you pay (unless you request changes during the project).

Can I supply my own materials or fixtures?

While we prefer to source materials to ensure quality and warranty coverage, we can discuss client-supplied items on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we can't warranty materials we don't supply, and scheduling may be affected by product availability.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes—all our work is covered by statutory building warranties as required under South Australian law. We also provide warranties on workmanship, and most materials and fixtures come with manufacturer warranties. We'll discuss specific warranty details during your quote.

What payment terms do you offer?

We typically work on a progress payment structure: deposit upon contract signing, progress payments at key milestones, and final payment upon completion. Specific payment schedules are outlined in your contract and tailored to the size and scope of your project.
